You can catch a glimpse of the surrounding cypress trees in a beautiful Italian garden between lemon trees and an olive grove which creates a very romantic area to celebrate a symbolic wedding ceremony. There is an area in the Italian Renaissance garden with terracotta statues representing the four seasons which is a very popular place to have photos taken or as a backdrop to your ceremony. The ample gardens provide many areas which would be perfect to hold your wedding ceremony and there is a small and ancient chapel which can be found onsite that can hold Anglican or Protestant ceremonies or a larger church just a short distance from the villa if you opt for a religious wedding ceremony. This villa also features a panoramic terrace and a spectacular courtyard overlooking a monastery – it is the perfect place to organize your wedding reception.

The charm of Villa Sofia is enhanced by gorgeous fireplaces, wooden floors, frescoed walls and ceilings, stunning prints and beautifully crafted furnishings of which the majority are country style antiques that add to the charm and romance of this property and enhance its luxury. Most of the rooms and apartments can be found in the main building, some of which face the courtyard with sweeping views of the Tuscan countryside and others that face the beautiful Italian styled, manicured garden. Villa Sofia can accommodate up to 90 wedding guests and offers three connected spaces. The villa sleeps 26, the rustic apartments sleep 40 and the cottages sleep 30.

The property also has a pristine 15m swimming pool just a short 3-minute walk from the main building along a cypress-lined uphill lane. It is completely fenced for privacy and reserved for exclusive use for guests. From every angle, there are incredible views of the countryside and a gazebo as well as pool loungers next to the pool for relaxing. There are two ballrooms on the property that are available for the perfect dinner in case of rain and the Grey room can easily host 100 people for your wedding reception.
